Guest Preacher this Sunday: Andrew Franseen

This Sunday we'll have the pleasure of hearing the Word preached by Andrew Franseen. Andrew had the privilege of serving at Grace Bible Church for about 10 years (Heritage planted Grace in the south Spartanburg area in 1994). Originally a native of Kansas City, Missouri, he met Jessica his wife while serving on a mission trip to the UK. They've been married for 15 years and have five children, ranging in age from 11-4. Andrew studied at Bob Jones Seminary and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Andrew will preach from Ecclesiastes 2:24–26,
"There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God, for apart from him who can eat or who can have enjoyment? For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind."
You won't see me this Sunday or next. This Sunday, March 11, I'll be preaching at Grace Bible Church, where Andrew is from. The following Sunday, March 18, Dan Olinger will preach for us, as I'll be in Albuquerque preaching at Clarus, the Southwest Regional Conference of The Gospel Coalition. On March 25, we'll return to Colossians for a final sermon from 4:7–18.
